"The Hall of Clans is amazing!     This is one of the best interactive displays I have seen. Very well done and engaging."

Great Hall of the Clans

Our St. Ann's campus is home to the Great Hall of the Clans, featuring eight interactive displays, a history of the first settlers to this area, and much more.  Spend some time here and immerse yourself in the rich history of the Nova Scotia Gaels.

Join us daily for the Great Kilt Demonstration.  Our on-staff kiltmakers will transform 9-metres of tartan fabric into the precursor to today's modern kilt - right before your eyes!

Faire Chaluim MhicLeoid

This first Gaelic film of its kind, Faire Chaluim MhicLeoid is set in the Highlands of Cape Breton, and tells the story of a traditional story teller who is faced with the challenges of living a traditional life, with a modern family.

Gaelic Milling Frolic

Experience a traditional Gaelic song session, called a “milling frolic” by learning simple Gaelic phrases, and songs, and “drubbing” a piece of wool cloth on our milling table.

Cape Breton Music & Dance Demonstration

Learn all about strathspeys and reels during our Cape Breton music and dance demonstration.  Tap your toes to the sounds of the fiddle and piano, or learn a few “steps” from one of our expert instructors.
