Congratulations and thank you to all the students of our 2011 Summer School. We had a fantastic group of students in for the last six weeks, studying bagpipes, drumming, fiddle and bodhran, Gaelic language and song, step dance, Celtic harp, highland dance, small pipes, and weaving. Our students and instructors were absolutely amazing! We can stop raving about them!
The Gaelic College is nestled in the heart of Cape Breton, a little Scottish and Celtic oasis of culture music and fun! We are working hard to To promote, preserve and perpetuate through studies in all related areas - the culture, music, language, arts, crafts, customs and traditions of immigrants from the Highlands of Scotland. Our campus is abuzz with the ideas and innovations coming for next summer, our team of instructors have been instrumental (pardon the pun) in providing us with fantastic feedback which we are going to put to use in the planning for the years to come.
A huge thanks to everyone and we can't wait until next summer's sessions!
