The Gaelic College Craft Shop is owned and operated by the Gaelic College of Celtic Arts and Crafts, a non-profit organization. To place your order by telephone, please call (902) 295-3441. You can order by fax (902) 295-2912 with one of the above credit cards or by mail with credit card or money order. Our on-line store uses Paypal.

Shipping & Delivery

Canada:

All products shipped by Canada Post.
Shipping is calculated by weight of each individual product. Certain orders may qualify for a special "small packet rate". If so, you will be charged a lower rate.
All shipping costs include insurance except the small packet rate which can't be insured.

USA:

All products shipped by Canada Post.
Shipping is calculated by weight of each individual product. Certain orders may qualify for a special "small packet rate". If so, you will be charged a lower rate.

The Gaelic College Craft Shop does not pay international shipping duties and taxes. All duties and taxes are the customers responsibility.

International:

All products shipped by Canada Post.

Delivery Schedule:

Items are typically shipped within 2 weeks from the date your order is received. Estimated shipping arrival time is approximately 2-6 weeks after the date your order is processed (depending on your location and method of shipment).

Sales Tax

All goods shipped outside of Canada are sales tax free

For Canadian customers only:
GST or HST will automatically be calculated when you select your province in our shopping cart area.
GST @ 5% applies to all Canadian provinces except Nova Scotia, where the HST @ 15% will be applied and for Newfoundland and New Brunswick, where HST @ 13% will be applied.

Returns & Refunds

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Customers wishing to return merchandise to the Gaelic College Craft Shop must first contact us via telephone (902-295-3411) or email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Please include your order number and a brief explanation for the nature of your return. You must contact us within 60 days from receipt of merchandise. Merchandise returned for a refund must be in re-sellable condition and the sales receipt must be included with returned item. A restocking fee may be assessed for merchandise returned that is not in the same condition as when it was shipped. No refunds on custom orders.

Defective or damaged products are eligible for credit or replacement within 30 days of customer invoice date. Replacement item(s) will be shipped upon receipt of defective merchandise. Please include a copy of your invoice and a brief description of the product defect with your returned merchandise. Allow 7 business days for processing returns. If approved, you can expect your refund or exchange within one week from the time we receive your return. For credit card orders, please allow one to two statements for your credit to appear.

Shipping and Handling charges are not refundable for any return other than a  Gaelic College Craft Shop shipping error.

Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation from the Gaelic College Craft Shop. This E-mail will contain your confirmation number as well as your order number.

In the unlikely event of a problem with your order, you will be contacted via E-mail with an explanation of the problem along with an E-mail address which can be used to contact one of our customer service specialists.

Privacy Notice

The Gaelic College Craft Shop is committed to protecting your privacy. We use your personal information only to process orders and to provide a more personalized shopping experience for you, we never reveal your personally identifiable information to anyone outside our organization. When you order, we ask for your name, E-mail address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card number,  expiration date and validation code.(a 3 or 4 digit number on the back of your credit card) This allows us to process your order and notify you of your order status.
