Cape Breton University and the Gaelic College of Celtic Arts and Crafts have agreed to a federation between the two institutions. The overall goal of cooperation between Cape Breton University (CBU) and the Gaelic College of Celtic Arts and Crafts (Gaelic College) is to establish a practical framework for program development and delivery that will best serve the interests of the two institutions and the community as a whole by integrating services to improve accessibility, educational interaction and mutual cooperation.
The Memorandum of Federation is intended to facilitate cooperative development of educational and other cultural programs such that the resources of the two institutions are utilized efficiently, while maintaining and recognizing the well-established mandate of each. Co-operation is the focus of this initiative.
