After due diligence, and as a result of the negotiations carried out between CEO Rodney MacDonald, and Provincial negotiator Nelida Young, Department of Natural Resources, the Gaelic College Board of Governors have received an offer by the Province of Nova Scotia to purchase 246.25 acres of land belonging to the Gaelic College, for the sum of $600,000.  The Board of Governors move that permission be given to Alex Morrison, the Chair of the Board of Governors, and CEO Rodney MacDonald, acting on the behald of the Gaelic College Foundation to accept the offer.
